Cut challenge: Fine-tuning your edits on the Cut Page

- There's one more technique I want to show you before I send you off on another challenge. And it has to do with trimming, but of the keyboard rather than using your mouse. So once again, we're going to take a look at this edit here, and I'm going to press V which will get us to the nearest edit, and immediately put us in to Trim View. And what you can do is use the U button to toggle the left side of the edit, the right side of the edit, or both sides of the edit otherwise known as a roll. So, notice in the upper timeline, which I find easiest to see here, I press the U button once, and now we're going to affect the right side of the edit. So if I do nothing else keep an eye on this lower film strip here. And what I'm going to use is the comma, and period keys on the keyboard. The comma will move us to the left, and notice on the lower a timeline how we're moving to the left going earlier into that clip. Now,…
