Ganondorf is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. His moveset is similar to the previous games, but his Smash attacks have been reworked to include his Greatsword seen in certain Ocarina of Time promotional art, and seen on his victory screen in Super Smash Bros. Melee. His Final Smash has also changed slightly to make him look more like Ocarina of Time Ganon.

Ganondorf's model has reverted back to his Ocarina of Time design. No alternate Outfits for Ganondorf are known at this time.

How to Unlock Ganondorf

Ganondorf can be unlocked through various means, both by playing Classic Mode, Vs. Smash Matches.

  • Classic Mode: Beat Classic Mode 4 times as Yoshi or anyone he unlocks to get Ganondorf.
  • Vs. Mode Matches: Ganondorf is the 40th fighter to unlock by playing Vs. Mode Matches, see How to Unlock All Characters in Smash Bros. Ultimate for more details.

Moveset

Input Name Description
Neutral Special Warlock Punch Channels dark energy into a devastating punch. Difficult to interrupt.
Side Special Flame Choke Rushes forward to grab an enemy. Grabbed enemies are thrown straight down.
Up Special Dark Dive Leaps upward and grabs opponents, electrocuting and launching them. It can't be blocked by a shield.
Down Special Wizard's Foot Propels forward with a kick charged by dark power. In the air, he plunges diagonally downward.
Final Smash Ganon, The Demon King  Ganondorf transforms into a boar-like beast, stuns nearby opponents with his gigantic blades, and then charges forward with full force to the edge of the stage. This move can hit all opponents in Ganondorf's line of attack.
