16 Aug, 2019 @ 10:02am geo grinding? so for most of my play through so far, i have been grinding the husk guard above the forgotten cross roads stag station. i've found it pretty efficient. the guard is literally right in the next room from a bench, and it takes very little effort to kill him, and you get 45 geo. then i triggered the infection in the forgotten cross roads, and i don't know exactly how, but now i can't grind that huck anymore. so i just lost my main grinding spot, and im not sure where to go now that was as quick and convenient as that husk guard. < > Showing 1-11 of 11 comments

16 Aug, 2019 @ 10:59am Just do Trial of Conqueror. One victory gives you 2000 geo and if you have F/U Strenght and fully upgraded nail, everything will fall very fast. One run last about 10 minutes. Last edited by Scorpix; 16 Aug, 2019 @ 10:59am #3

16 Aug, 2019 @ 12:48pm Carver Hatchers are a decent way to get money quickly at about 5000 Geo per 15 minutes if you do it right. I think technically THE fastest way to grind Geo is still killing the Hoppers in the area directly below Colosseum of Fools, which can get you about 7000 Geo per 15 minutes. However, if you're fully decked, you can finish and restart the Trial of the Conqueror in about 5 minutes, putting that at 6000 Geo per 15 minutes. #5

16 Aug, 2019 @ 1:21pm I also vote for the Trial of the Conqueror. It is pure action, and by far less boring than going around hunting for enemies. #6

17 Aug, 2019 @ 6:43am Oh yeah, I'd completely forgotten about the City of Tears. That's a good spot as well. Gives results comparable to the Trial of the Conqueror. #8

17 Aug, 2019 @ 2:15pm I mean, that goes for every strategy listed here. With a full set of upgrades, the Trial of the Conqueror can be beaten without breaking a sweat. Just tried; 9 minutes and 40 seconds to beat it twice and I never even went below 7 masks in hitpoints. (while listening to some classical/jazz fusion from Windstreken - Mundum Renovavit)In fact I'd argue that one's even easier since the enemies mostly come to you rather than the other way around, so you have to be less worried about keeping up the pace. It's also less boring; say you need 10 000 Geo, in the City of Tears, that means you'll be doing that round trip ~40 times in 25 minutes. By comparison, the Trial of the Conqueror you'll be doing the entire trial only 5 times (again in 25 minutes) #10

You can get a good bit of geo for each of the Carver Hatcher enemies, if you let them spawn all of their Dirtcarvers, and they’re easy to deal with if you use the small doorway for the first two, and back into the far wall for the last 4. And equip quickslash and longnail/mark of pride. With Greed charms you can get around 550 geo per run, which is about 1.5 minutes. Last edited by (Edgy) Asriel Dreemurr; 16 Aug, 2019 @ 11:12am #2

But in the end, I guess it's really up to preference.
