Google LLC can briefly pause a lawsuit accusing its memory servers of infringing Netlist Inc.'s patented memory module technology, a California federal judge ruled Wednesday.
Netlist shares fell 16% on Wednesday, according to Bloomberg News.
The dispute will be stayed for 90 days while Samsung, the supplier of the allegedly infringing modules, navigates a separate infringement case with Netlist that aims to resolve whether the memory modules tread on Netlist’s patent.
Judge Richard Seeborg ultimately agreed with Google that “Samsung is in the best position to litigate the issue of non-infringement because it designs, manufactures, and supplies” Google with ...
