How do I add a GIF to PowerPoint?

To add a GIF to a PowerPoint presentation:

  1. Use Google Images or another search engine to find the GIF you want to use.

  2. Save the GIF to your computer by right-clicking on the image and choosing Save As. Make sure it saves as a .gif file.

  3. Open your PowerPoint presentation.

  4. Click the slide you want to add the GIF to.

  5. Click the Insert tab from the top ribbon.

  6. Click Pictures, then Insert Picture From This Device.

  1. Browse your computer to find the GIF you saved. Select the file and click Insert.

  2. Adjust the size of the GIF if necessary by grabbing the corners of the image and stretching to the desired size.

  3. Preview the slide by clicking the Slide Show tab from the top ribbon and either playing From Beginning or From Current Slide.
