How can I keep slimes from spawning in my house?

Slimes keep spawning in my undergound house and trampling my crops. Is there anyway I can stop this? Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Make a room that's only farmland and water with a door connecting it to the rest of your house. I don't think slimes will be able to spawn on farmland, and the door will keep them out. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Add support pillars so that it gets the spaces the slimes can spawn in smaller. It doesn't completely solve the problem though. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Any space in your farm that isn't farmland and water can be covered with half slabs to prohibit spawning. Also OP, Pink Floyd forever! Glass floors also work to stop slimes and other mobs from spawning. Carpet over water, bottom-half slabs, fences, or stairs.

Carpets, leaves, glass, and bottom half slabs, and farmland all work as spawnproof bloks, so figure out what chunks the slimes are spawning in and use those blocks to prevent the mobs to spawn.
