Squedward_ DungeonHub DHUB Member Joined Nov 8, 2020 Messages 16 Reaction score 0 So I made a stranded profile and I made a slime platform at y28 and slimes can spawn on it, however, now I have the magma cream minion I needed and don't need them anymore, I've tried placing torches down there on the platform, but slimes still spawn, this wouldn't be that much of a problem normally, but now that hypixel have added a mob limit on 1 island, it prevents regular mobs from spawning, does anyone know how to stop the slimes from spawning so I can get other mobs to spawn? this will be the easiest but i’m not 100% sure if i works, place water on it, you could also place bottom slabs Upvote 0 Downvote D

MyStEryNotch Ideal ✿IDEAL✿ Veteran Joined Dec 16, 2017 Messages 2,495 Reaction score 866 As some others said you can grind for repelling candles, but that takes a bit of effort. There are other options for mob proofing but you should probably try replling candle since you will basically need it for wolf slayer its probably worth it in the long run but before gettin 25k acaia you should know that if u get the repelling candel recipe you are guna need to use multiple of them to have mobs only spawn in your mobgriner, i think its aorund 25 of them for a full layer farm on max settings idk the spacing tho also you should rush jungle axe before farming any other wood types it helps anyways if you dont wanna get repelling candle just remove the slime platform after getting a slime minion or put slabs on the platform to prevent mobs spawning there entirely lastly if you dont wanna do any of these options you can just log out of stranded for like 1-2 minutes and then log back in, which resets the mob cap Upvote 0 Downvote D

Also Slimes should not spawn in biomes like Desert, Savanna, Hell or End. Seems like Multiple Repeling Candles is the only solution atm. Upvote -1 Downvote You must log in or register to reply here.
