I was a healer and the tank yells out use Limit. I cast an aoe heal. With all the other spell effects going off, I had no idea if we each used it or just me. #3 Drevin View Profile View Posts 1 Aug, 2021 @ 4:05am Look for the Limit Break button, and place it on one of your shared bars. Since you are melee dps, you will use it on the bosses, because for you it will be a single target spell. Remember that you don't have a separate energy pool to spend, you share it with everyone in the party or raid. Use it whenever you feel like, because many players don't really care about it, and learn from your mistakes. There are 2 occasions when you should pay extra attention, though. One is in raids, when there are a lot of dead players around, and the healer LB3 can revive everyone. If you use it as a dps, everyone will hate you. Second time is in a trial called The Chrysalis. Don't use it on the boss, even if it is at LB3. Everybody can use LB, but only one person who can execute it at time. The LB bar is a shared resources. So if you use it first, others cannot use it until the bar is filled again. Its situational, as you need to see who has the priority to use it. If everybody is dying, healer can use LB. At 2 or 3 bars full I think, healer can ressurect everybody.In most cases, its usually DPS the one who need to cast LB, due to the massive damage it does to boss. The more bars are filled the stronger the effect.It's a different effect per category. Tank LB gives damage reduction to the whole party. It's quite niche.

Not really, it's more reliable than waiting and risking for a healer LB because most of the time you end up sacrificing that Healer for the others to live.

When you unlock your 1st dungeon I believe, a tutorial opens explain it, although poorly.Best use of the LB is to know when to use it, most of the time people hold onto the LB only for the final boss at 10% HP left, that is a waste, best way to use LB is when it is ready while you fighting a boss is to let the Melee DPS use it so it can immediately charge up again, if you don't have a Melee DPS, save it for when the Tank pulls a big group of enemies so the Caster or range DPS can hit all the trash mobs with LB. Caster and Ranged DPS should never waste the LB on a single boss when there is a Melee DPS, because the damage that they do with LB is much worse than the damage they deal using normal skills.
