To delete your old save just start a new game and overight it

You don't delete your old save file. If you want to start a new game then start a new game and then save. Note: all your other data from you previous save file will be deleted including all items collected and all Pokemon trained and caught.

Hold B+SELECT+DOWN at the title screen it will be like you just bought it because it will say: NEW GAME it will delete all save data. OPTIONS
