Got a t-rex at 28% < > Showing 1-15 of 59 comments Ragtatter View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 2:57pm Ocassionally punch it in the face to keep it unconscious while it's being tamed. #1 Creadon View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:03pm Yeah, i'm keeping unconscious at an all time high. Just wondered about the Taming Effectiveness. How can you increase it and what does it actually do? #2 tomwithtime View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:05pm I thought it was based on the foods you tame them with. I switched out blue berries for red while taming a dodo and the effectiveness went from 21% to 28%. Maybe 28% is the best right now, unless the premium meat from large animals gives more for carnivores. Also you should feed them narco berries instead of punching them in the face lol Last edited by tomwithtime; 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:05pm #3 Yukkipedia View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:06pm someone told to starve it while keeping him inconscious dunno if it's true #4 Neckstabba View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:07pm

It might work, as the best success with taming has been with rather hungery dinos.. Had a few who were starving a fair amount and I had a 75% efficiency to start off but it steadily dropped off as time went on.Fyi punching them to keep them KOed serverly drops the taming efficiency while keeping them mildly out of it with Narco berries keeps it higher... Also having friends and tribe mates to keep the supply of berries and meat going helps ALOT. #7 MrToftt View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:15pm force feed them narco berrys and put meat in there inv #8 Ragtatter View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:16pm How do you force-feed narco berries? That does sound a lot better than punching them. #9 Dokuujin View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:17pm Aside from all of the obvious trolls? The tame is more effective the less you feed it. IE: DO NOT force it to eat meat/berries, and only force it to eat Nacroberries as needed. The less it has eaten when it's fully tamed, the more effect the taming was. #10 Dokuujin View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:17pm

Put nacroberries in it's inventory, and remote activate the berries or w/e it's called.Edit: On side note, hitting a dino that is being tamed actually damages the taming, so that's stupid as ♥♥♥♥ to do. Just putting that out there. Last edited by Dokuujin; 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:18pm #11 Renifizzle View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:18pm

Lol.Open their inventory. Drop the narco berries in their inventory. Click on them and click the Remote Use button in THEIR inventory. #12 Neckstabba View Profile View Posts 3 Jun, 2015 @ 3:18pm

If you don't feed them they will stop taming. It needs food to get tamed. Starving the dinosaur removes the progress! :( #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 59 comments Per page: 1530 50 ARK: Survival Evolved > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 3 Jun, 2015 @ 2:56pmPosts: 59 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
