Can it glue glass Lady Di · August 24, 2017 6 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report It's VERY fast! I would say a few minutes to set and 12 hours to hold firm... it really all depends on how much you are using and what you are glueing of course. You might check the company site for accurate timings... but I can tell you that E6000 is FAR and away better than any glue I've used for binding things -- especially to fabric or rubber. I've used it many times to re-stick rubber soles to my sandals -- and it's solid and permanent! I've also used it to glue crystals onto performance dresses --- but would use fabric glue instead if you intend to wash it. TMMofBoulder · November 30, 2015 6 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report Over night to dry completely but if you need to speed it up use a blow drier on low for a few minutes (...make sure the rest of your product is heat resident first.) This will allow you to at least transport the items gently within an hour Anne M. Baxter · May 8, 2017 4 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report Depends on many factors.if not exposed to air after use I have found it can take several days before it is complely set.if item is exposed it takes far less time.24 hours would be plenty at room temp. Bret Monlux · September 11, 2017 3 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report E6000 starts getting tacky in approximately 2 minutes and begins setting in approximately 10 minutes. A full cure takes between 24 and 72 hours. Remember, temperature and humidity will affect dry time. blair gemmer · March 22, 2021 3 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report The directions say to give it at least 24 hours to cure. I didn't check it any earlier to see if it was quicker. Use it in an area that has good cross ventilation. it stinks up close. D.R. in NC · November 30, 2015 3 people found this helpful. Do you? | Report I love E6000 and have been using it to glue things to my cars that i then drive around in everyday (some call them artcars but mine is more of a decorated car) and the currennt Santa Car has some Santas on it that have been on it for 7 years. E6000 Rocks but I wish i had taken better notes on previous projects and I would already know this. How long would it take for it to set to ensure a good enough bond for me to drive across town with freshly glued santas with a modicum of safety. Safety Third!
