Sifu

Available on PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store, Sifu is a kung-fu-based rogue-like with a story centred around revenge.

With your family murdered when you were just a young child, now that you’re twenty and have mastered the art of Pak-Mei Kung-Fu, it’s time to take down those who wronged you. It’s not going to be easy though, especially as you only have one day to get the job done. But that’s Sifu, and you might be wondering how long it takes to beat it.

Being a challenging rogue-like, it’s impossible to give you a highly accurate time in which you’ll beat Sifu. With five levels all in all, each one will eventually take you less than half an hour to complete once you’ve mastered them. But getting to that point will likely take some time. A good estimate for how long it will take the average player to complete Sifu, however, is 8-10 hours.

Of course, highly skilled players out there will complete it faster. And the less skilled may find they’ll never complete it. Sifu is challenging, and a unique aging mechanic means that you can only die so many times before having to start a level over. Mastering the art of dodging and deflecting attacks is imperative to success; while there are skills to learn and upgrades to find, they’re not a great deal of help in the long run if you don’t get the basics down.

So, while it’s possible to beat Sifu in just a couple of hours, expect to spend 8-10 hours playing it before you see the credits roll. And those who want to get all of its trophies or achievements will like spend much longer trying to complete it.
