So I just found out I'm 3 cm and 70% effaced baby is really low. Does this really mean anything? I'll be 37 weeks on Friday. I feel like I'm getting all excited but it could really be another 3 weeks still lol Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLike Reply 18 CommentsNewest FirstOldest FirstViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriatehhuskymom2

I was 1cm and 50% effaced at 37 weeks. There was absolutely no change til I went into labor at 39w1d Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriatemmemerson1989

I was dilated to 3 1/2 with my second child for three weeks and then 4 for a week. contractions non stop but when labor did actually start boy was the doctor right about finally understanding the difference. I was in a lot of pain and could not walk or talk through them. when I got to the hospital the first thing I said was epidural...gasp...please...now. hahaha. With my first I declined the cervix checks until my 39 week appointment! I was 1cm that morning and had him that evening at 8:30!! My labor when super fast and I also asked for the epidural as soon as I was wheeled into the hospital lol I wasn't able to get one though :( I feel like I have all this false hope that it could be any day now but it could also be another 3 weeks uhg Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriatemmemerson1989@Brielle222,

it's so hard! each woman is different and every pregnancy is different. I had horribly high blood pressure and went into labor before 38 weeks with my first and I've never had that issue with my three pregnancies after. good luck!! I was 3cm and almost 100% effaced for almost 4 weeks with my first. Went into labor at exactly 40 weeks. Everyone is different but in my experience it meant nothing. And my doctor kept telling me that baby would probably come early, told me that for weeks. She didn’t, they come when they’re ready. I know better than to get my hopes up this time. It will happen when it happens. Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriateuser avatartroochie86
