Hey mamas! I’m 36W0D and currently dilated 3cm, up from 1cm when I was checked 2 days ago. Have any of you measured this far and stayed dilated without noticeable contractions for a while? How long did it take you to go from 3cm to active labor? I know everyone is different, just interested to hear others’ experiences :)

I also had blood tinged mucus today and baby’s head is super low. The fetal monitor picked up consistent contractions for me when I was in the hospital this past weekend for an NST, but I couldn’t even feel them! I’m wondering how common it is to stay (painful) contraction-free for a while.
