Uber-popular streaming service Disney Plus already has The Mandalorian, Cruella, The Simpsons, Jungle Cruise and all of Marvel’s blockbuster superhero movies.

But now, the platform has launched the very first Disney Plus Day (November 12) – announcing even more binge-worthy programming and new family-friendly flicks.

Succumbing to Disney’s subscription fees is, well, almost a bit of a given at this point.

Don’t fight it, just plop down on your sofa and get ready to enjoy the latest TV.

But can you watch Disney Plus beyond the living room? What about on multiple devices – or with plenty of profiles for family and friends, to get your money’s worth?

Here’s what you need to know about Disney Plus and devices.

Good news! If you’ve subscribed for £7.99 per month, you can now access Disney Plus.

Better still, you can have your subscription active (i.e. be watching something) across four different devices at the same time.

This should include (most) smart TVs, laptops, iPads and tablets, smartphones (iPhone and Android) – as well as gaming systems such as the PlayStation 5.

To get started, download the app via your TV, or using Google Play, the Apple Store or Microsoft Store.

With your login details, you’ll be able to watch on any of your devices – whether via the downloaded app or, in the case of devices like laptops, your internet browser.

Not only does Disney Plus allow you to watch on four devices, you can set up seven different profiles.

The primary profile is the account holder’s – and you can’t change that one unfortunately.

But beyond that, you can set up multiple profiles for family and friends – so they can watch what they like, and get recommendations for more of the same.

Parents with little ones will find this function especially useful. A special kid-friendly profile allows access only to Disney’s PG-rated cartoons, movies and TV programmes.

Keep in mind that though you can have seven profiles, all seven people can’t watch at once on different devices. Only four devices can be used per account at any one time.
