The star welcomed her first child with actor Orlando Bloom in August of last year.

For her birthday celebrations this year, Katy and friends headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. 

In a series of images the popstar posted to Instagram, Katy showcased her birthday week, captioning the photos: “when you’re 37 hangovers last 5-7 business days 🎉🥳”. 

One of the images captures Katy and her fiance, Orlando Bloom, embracing on a boat called Happy Endings. She’s also pictured horseback riding with friends, and attending a movie on the beach. 

Orlando took to his own Instagram account to wish his future wife a happy birthday.

The image shows Katy getting ready to blow out a birthday candle, while Orlando looks on lovingly. He captioned his post: “We do life we do love and it’s fun. I’ll celebrate you today and everyday. 🎂🥳✨I love you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️” 

When was Katy Perry’s baby born?

On August 26, 2020, Katy and fiance Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child together.

They now have a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom. 

The couple proudly announced the arrival of their newborn that revealed mom and baby are both “safe and healthy” from the “peaceful” birth. 

Their baby girl’s highly-anticipated name reveal came just months after the singer released a track off her upcoming album, Smile, which was called Daisies.

When did Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announce her pregnancy?

The singer revealed the happy news of her pregnancy on March 5, 2020, with the release of her music video, Never Worn White, joking that she no longer has to hide her burgeoning bump.

The video featured her cradling what looked like a baby bump in a white dress, before the final shot left fans in no doubt that the singer was expecting her first child – as she stood sideways-on wearing a sheer gown.

She tweeted: “Omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore… or carry around a big purse lol.”

The Teenage Dream singer said she and Orlando had been planning to have their first child together for a while and were “looking forward” to the new arrival.

Discussing the baby news on SiriusXM Hits 1, she said: “Well it wasn’t an accident.

“I’m so grateful for everything I’ve been able to do and achieve and all the goals I’ve been able to check off my list.

“I think I’ve been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged, creating space for something new to happen like this.”

The Roar singer added: “We [her and Orlando] were both looking forward to this new interval of life and sharing this.”
