PEPPA Pig was created by three out-of-work British friends in 2000 and was first broadcast on Channel 5 in May 2004.

It has since become a global phenomenon and the company which owns the right to Peppa, Entertainment One, sold for a staggering £2.8 billion in 2019.

How tall is Peppa Pig?

According to the internet, Peppa Pig is 7ft 1ins tall.

The subject swept the internet in 2019 after a Twitter user posted the results of a Google search.

YouTuber Memeulous shared the screenshot of the Google search “Peppa Pig height” which revealed her surprisingly statuesque build.

The revelation sparked a storm among parents, who joked that her size was “scary” and she could “knock you clean out”.

One person said: “No wonder the screen shook when she jumped in those muddy puddles.”

Another added: “Imagine a 7’1″ Peppa Pig in a dark hallway chasing you at night isolated.”

Entertainment One has never confirmed her height, so speculation is still rife.

How tall is the rest of Peppa’s family?

Not long after the ‘Peppa height’ post went viral people started calculating how tall the rest of her family would be.

It was speculated that Mummy Pig would be 11ft 6 inches and Daddy Pig would be a huge 14ft 2inches.

Even her little brother George would be towering 7ft 1 inches.

This is not the only time that Peppa Pig has gone viral.
