This wikiHow teaches you how to prevent a Venmo user from sending payments, requests, and comments when you’re using an Android. Blocking someone on Venmo also makes it so you’ll no longer see that person’s activity in your feed.
Steps
1 Open Venmo. It’s a blue icon with a white V. You’ll usually find it in your app drawer.
If you haven’t yet signed into Venmo, tap Sign in to enter your account information, then tap Submit.
2 Tap ☰. It’s near the top-left corner of the screen. Advertisement
3 Tap Search People. A search page will appear.
4 Search for the person you want to block. Type the person’s name into the search box, then select them from the search results.
5 Tap ⁝. It’s at the top-right corner of the person’s profile.
6 Tap Block. Though you’ve now blocked this user, the change will not take effect until you sign out of Venmo.
7 Tap the back button until you’ve reached the Venmo home screen. This is the screen with the live Venmo feed.
8 Tap ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
9 Tap Settings.
10 Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
11 Tap OK to confirm. This takes you back to the login screen. When you sign back in, the person you blocked will not be able to contact you. Also, you won’t see any of their payment or comment activity in your news feed.
To sign back in, tap Sign In at the top-right corner of the screen.
