This wikiHow teaches you how to block a Venmo user on your iPhone or iPad.
Steps
1 Open Venmo. The app has a blue icon with a white “V.” You'll typically find it on your home screen.
If you haven't yet signed in to your account, tap Sign In, enter your login details, then tap Submit.
2 Tap ☰. It's at the top-left corner of the screen. Advertisement
3 Tap Search People.
4 Select the person you want to block. To find them, type their name into the search box, then select the correct person from the search results. This opens the user's profile.
5 Tap ⋯. It's at the top-right corner of the screen.
6 Select Block. It appears in red. This blocks the user, however the change will not take effect until you sign out and back into Venmo.
7 Sign out of and back into Venmo. Once you sign back in, the user you blocked will no longer appear in your network, nor will they be able to search for you in the app.
To sign out, tap ☰ at the top-left corner of Venmo, tap Settings, then Sign Out.
