How to Reset Data
Deleting Save Data Does Not Work
Deleting save data in Nintendo Switch does not affect the account in Pokemon UNITE. Attempting to delete the saved data in hopes of starting a new account in Pokemon UNITE is not possible.
Players need to create a new user in their Nintendo Switch, then link that user to another Nintendo Account. How to Create a New Account
How to Delete Account
How to Delete User in Nintendo Switch
| 1 | Go to Systems Settings in the home screen |
|---|---|
| 2 | Scroll to Users, and select the user you want to delete |
| 3 | Scroll to and select Delete User |
| 4 | Check the Delete box, then select Next |
| 5 | Select Delete This User |
Deleting a User from the Nintendo Switch will not delete the Nintendo Account linked to it.
How to Delete Nintendo Account

|---|---|
| 2 | Go to Other Settings, and select Delete Account |
| 3 | Read the information regarding deleting accounts, then select Deactivate and Delete |
| 4 | Enter your password for confirmation |

After deletion, the Nintendo Account can still be reactivated only within 4 weeks. If the Nintendo Account is not reactivated within the given period, it will get deleted permanently.
How to Delete Trainer Club Account
| 1 | Log in to your Pokemon Trainer Club account at www.pokemon.com. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Access your Profile. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Request Data Deletion. You will be redirected to a Delete Your Account page. |
| 3 | Enter your username and password, and then click Delete button. You will receive an email at the email address associated with the account you want to delete. |
| 4 | Go to your email and click the Delete Account button. A confirmation page will confirm that you have successfully deleted your Pokemon Trainer Club account. |
If you used your Pokemon Trainer Club Account to create your Pokemon UNITE account, you will be able to delete that instead.
Note that you will not be able to reactivate the account or access previous account details once deleted. Additionally, you will no longer be able to use the deleted account for other Pokemon games that use the account. However, deleting your Pokemon Trainer Club account does not unlink a Nintendo account.
