my document has been signed, and I'm trying to delete a page and edit text within a different page.When I click the edit text button, I get the message, "cannot edit a signed document".

Edit Answer (for another -8 minute)

If you sign a document (which ‘could’ be legally binding; and e-signatures are no different) because you confirm you agree with the content, ~ (Qtn) How would YOU then feel if that same document was then edited by other people and re-distributed (still with your signature at the bottom)? You wouldn’t have signed it, would you! The same is happening here, it is not an acceptable thing to do.If it’s "your" signature, .. Start over again.

I don't completely agree with Paul replay. A document may allow multiple signatures in certain circumstances.

And you should be able to edit the content of a signed document but you invalidate the signature.
