How to Get Fine Wood

Birch Trees

Valheim (Fine Wood) - Birch Trees.pngFine wood are obtained from chopping Birch trees located in the Meadows, Black Forest, and Plains biomes. They are easily distinguishable by their white and slender trunks.

Birch trees can be chopped by using a Bronze Axe or better.

Valheim (Fine Wood) - Oak Trees.pngFine wood can also be obtained from chopping oak trees located in the Meadows and Plains biomes. These trees can be identified by their brown trunks that are thicker than most trees.

Oak Trees can be chopped by using a Bronze Axe or better as well.

Bait Troll Attacks

Troll Baiting Wood.jpgWhen you are able to find a Troll in the either Biome with Oak trees or Birch trees, you can bait and evade its attacks on the said trees. The Troll's attacks easily break down the trees in to raw materials for you to harvest them later even before beating the first boss Eikthyr.

Can Be Spawned with Console Command

If you don't mind using cheats to obtain it, Fine Wood can easily be spawned with the console command.

To spawn the item, first turn on cheat codes by typing devcommands in the F5 console, and use the spawn FineWood command to create the item.
