In order to "force" the panther as the loot in hard mode you need to do this: 1- get a Perico heist finale ready, no matter if it is hard mode or normal mode, the main loot type doesn't matter, either 2- disable game saving by blocking the ip address 192.81.241.171 in your home firewall 3- play the finale and wait 15 minutes until Pavel say that the heist is available again 4- start a new Perico heist in hard mode (by starting a new heist as soon as it is available again after the 15 minutes cooldown) 5- scope the island for the main loot, if it is the panther remove the ip blocking and force a save by changing ouffit ASAP 6- if you don't get the panther statue as the primary loot then close the GTA application, remove the ip blocking and start again from step 2 UPDATE: it seems that the panther statue is already a "forced" primary target the first time you scope for the main loot after this week update, i have been unable to get the panther statue a second time yet, i have been using this method for months to force the pink diamond in hard mode as the primary target but it is yet uncertain that the method works with the panther statue, so for the moment maybe it would be better to rename this thread from "how to force the panther statue loot" to simply "how to force the loot" UPDATE 2: thread renamed from "how to force the loot" to "how to force the primary target". This method can be used to force the pink diamond in hard mode but it does not work for the panther statue Last edited: May 22, 2021

• Do the scope out mission
• Scope the primary target
• If it isn’t the panther immediately exit the game.
• Check the heist board to ensure the primary target wasn’t identified.
• Restart GTA.
• Restart the scope out.
• See if the panther is the primary target.
• If not repeat until the panther statue is the primary target.

Hello, Davey! the primary loot is set by the game in the very moment you start a new Cayo Perico heist, at least in PS4, it doesn't matter how many times you scope, you will always get the same main target, i made dozens of tests. Also the time counter for setting the new heist in hard mode is real-time, not in-game time, meaning that if you disable game saving just before starting a new heist you will have one try in hard mode, but if you don't get the panther in the first try then it will be normal mode, not hard mode in your second try because the time counter for going back to normal mode keeps on running even while you are in no-save mode. This means that the only way to force the panther loot in hard mode is disable game saving right before starting the finale, playing the finale, waiting for Pavel to tell the heist is ready again, start a new heist and scope, then if you don't get the panther you close app and retry. Nice work! I personally haven’t tested the method I wrote about before. It was purely theoretical. I have been predominantly playing on PC lately with a mod menu. I can just go into my menu and set the target to the panther statue every time. Lol I have actually been enjoying this heist because I can play solo and gain $2.4 million each time. I also use other mods that enable me to start and finish the heist completely in approximately 15 minutes. My average time in the finale is 3 minutes 30 seconds. I have made $400 million since the heist was released ? I am glad you figured this out for console players.., keep up the hard work ! Last edited: May 20, 2021

So now I have the forced Panther but crap secondaries, can I cancel the heist and keep the Panther but with a chance of better secondaries? Post automatically merged: May 22, 2021

Hello there! It would be helpful for me to know if the "crap secondary" targets that you got inside the compound are the same that i got: - 1 stack of gold and 1 stack of cash in the basement, near the panther - 1 stack of gold, 1 stack of cash and 1 artwork in the storage room nearest to the underwater entry spawn point (guy with a banjo yellow artwork) - 1 stack of cash in another storage room - 1 stack of cash in another storage room total secondary loot for the compound: 4 cash + 2 gold + 1 artwork thanks in advance for your help

Sounds about right. I've had the panther with weak secondaries on 3 accounts, and they were all close to that. My best shot has been solo, island coke and panther on all 3.

i also have it like u. Maybe it could be because in my case I started the Heist for the first time and on the first try you always get the panther statue and maybe you always get exactly the same secondary loot Last edited: May 22, 2021

Panther Statue is not enabled to show up. The only way to get it is when Rockstar enable it via Tuneables.

Panther Statue is unobtainable until Rockstar enable it via Tuneables. Post reply Insert quotes…
