This page contains information on how to get Darkrai in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Darkrai is a mythical Dark-type Pokemon that cannot normally be encountered in Hisui, but Nintendo has revealed that there is a special way to obtain Darkrai and a bonus outfit for your character as well if you've played Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl.

How to Get Darkrai in Pokemon Legends Arceus

If you have saved data from either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl, you'll be able to encounter the mythical Pokemon Darkrai in Pokemon Legends Arceus after viewing the game's end credits. Once you've rolled credits on Pokemon Legends: Arceus, return to Jubilife Village and you'll find a new Request to accept called The Darksome Nightmare that leads to an encounter with Darkrai.

Modern Team Galactic Set

Your Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl saved data will also unlock a bonus outfit known as the Modern Team Galactic Set. This set includes the Modern Jacket, Modern Trousers, and Modern Shoes. You can claim this outfit by speaking to the Clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team.

Request #93 - The Darksome Nightmare

The Darksome Nightmare is the 93rd Request in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and tasks you with investigating a mysterious Pokemon at night in the Coronet Highlands. As mentioned earlier, this request is only available if you have saved data from either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl.

This Request can be grabbed from the Request Board in Professor Laventon's office after viewing the game's end credits. Once you accept, you'll see a short cutscene involving Cael of the Pearl Clan telling you about a mysterious black Pokemon that appears around the Clamberclaw Cliffs at night.

Your first step is to head to Coronet Highlands. When you arrive, make sure to rest at your tent until nighttime to advance the day forward (if it's not already nighttime). Then, make your way over to the quest marker near Clamberclaw Cliffs.

As you approach the area, you'll see a short cutscene revealing the Pokemon to be Darkrai. You'll then have an opportunity to catch the Dark-type Pokemon Darkrai.

Get ready for a tough fight, though, as this Darkrai is Level 70.

Whether you defeat or catch it, Cael will arrive following the fight to thank you for saving the people from the nightmares and mark this Request complete.
