How to get villagers to follow you?

One of my villagers murdered another in a toilet by drowning him. I want to drag him off to the jail I made on the other side of the village, too far to push him or make a 2 block high path way to it. Is there a way to have them follow you? Build a railroad and push the murder to a vagon, then push him all the rail to the jail ( see last 6 videos of etho's lab in youtube, when he carried all testifi ates from a village to his base. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack .

No, just make a railroad to the jail and push them into the minecart. Any mobs that get within half a block of a minecart will automatically get in. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

It's a white robe villager. I looked inside the outhouse I made, and 3 villagers made it their house for the night. I went inside to see what robe colors were in there, and the white robe pushed another in the water and stood on his head like a solid block over the water. The one in the water could't get up, so he drowned. I witnessed it myself. I'm thinking of enslavement, he will power my redstone contraptioons with his body.
