How To Get Villagers To Follow You? - Survival Mode - Minecraft Forum
I am making an adventure map, and in this apocalypse themed map, you will find survivors throughout the map that will follow you, where you must lead them to the safety of bunkers.
So... how can I make villager's follow you when you come within a radius of them? no matter if you climb up inside a building, or die, or... yeah, pretty much everywhere until you get to the bunker.
Is this possible?
Rollback Post to Revision RollBackThe following entities will follow another entities in certain condition:
Tamed wolves following the tamer,
tamed cats following the tamer,
baby animals following the corresponding adult,
hostile melee mobs (well, invisible and weakened zombie, get it?) following their target,
leashed mobs following the leash(-er) <-wut iz tis... .
If you make them invisible and let the villagers constantly /tp or /teleport to that entity, it'll work.
Or, with the easiest and ugliest method:
give them a score or tag when the player is nearby,
and /tp or /teleport to the player if it's out of radius.
I.E. /execute @a ~ ~ ~ /teleport @e[tag=following(I made this tag, remember.)] ~ ~ ~

And tell the world that 1+1=2Would it work if you had the villager name (in this case survivor or such) and teleport them to @p because their would only be one player?
And when you get to the place where they stop following you, I just cut the redstone that connects the command block (I use clocks as easiest thing)? and then reconnect it when I want?

Although, again, an ugly way.
