Rock Climb - Move Details¶

Rock Climb HM Location¶

You’ll have to pass through Route 217 to get to Snowpoint City, which is a snowy path that can be hard to navigate. Head up the west side to locate a house, and inside, the man will tell you he lost his TM nearby.

The TM is right by a tree.

It’s not far. Go outside and head up and slightly right of the house to find an item, which is TM100 Rock Climb. You can also head back inside to get an Icicle Plate as thanks from the man, though he won’t ask for his TM back.

How to Use Rock Climb¶

Rock Climb can only be used when you’re next to a rocky surface that’s available to climb to reach a new location.

To use the Hidden Move, you must defeat Candice, the gym leader in Snowpoint City.

You can use it by pressing the ‘A’ button close to a rocky surface and pressing the same button again to climb it.
