How To Make An AMF Drink (The Adios Drink) - The Kitchen Magpie

Karlynn made me do it. This delicious AMF cocktail stands for Adios Mother F****ers. She laughed and laughed until tears were in her eyes and demanded that I make this drink for her.

While the name is hilarious, this is actually a great sipping drink.

Why is it called an AMF (or Adios Mother F***er)?

The name mainly comes from the fact that this is one of the strongest cocktails you can make. It combines a rather obscene amount of alcohol into one drink and then attempts to mask it with a Blue Curacao. It’s bold, unforgiving and surprisingly good.

How to make an AMF drink

To make this potent concoction you’ll need vodka, rum, tequila and gin as well as Blue Curacao and some Sprite or 7-up. Measure the spirits out according to the recipe card below and add into a shaker with ice. Shake until cold and pour into your glass of choice. Top with Sprite or 7-up, garnish and serve.

The Glassware

These glasses you see here are part of my pirate glassware collection, they are some of my favorites due to their colorful, unique art style. I pulled out one of my vintage stir sticks to go with them and man does it make for a great looking cocktail!

You can find pirate glasses like these at antique stores. I’ve actually got more than just this style of glass; I also have some smaller ones which I used in my Monkey Gland cocktail photos.

I hope you enjoy this drink – just be careful, it’s a strong one!
