This wikiHow teaches you how to send a private message on Reddit when you’re using a computer.

Steps

1. 1 Go to https://www.reddit.com. If you aren’t already signed in to Reddit, enter your username and password, then click Log In.
2. 2 Click the username of the person you want to PM. This opens the user’s profile. To find it the person’s username, navigate to any post or comment shared by that user, then click the name after “by.” Advertisement
3. 3 Click send a private message. It’s near the top-right corner of the screen, beneath the user’s post and comment karma points.
4. 4 Type a subject. This is usually just a short description of the message.
