How to Properly Insert Ear Plugs
There are three basic steps to putting in a hearing protector to make sure it has an optimum fit.
The first thing you want to do is take your fingers and roll down the ear plug so that it has a narrow diameter.
Using your hand of the ear that you're going to put it in, reach around with your opposite arm to pull up and back on the ear canal.
Then place the ear plug into the ear and allow it to expand so that a tight seal can be produced in the ear canal, to provide the most comfort and the most consistent noise protection available.
