(jl74) Use rubbing alcohol. If that doesnt work, but it should, goto walmart get a small can of "Aircraft Remover" Rub some on thick towel and whip it offf. I promise u hat will get it off. Be super careful, this **** will take your car paint off as well! (sutrusu) you guys are taking it too far. just go to a grocery store, pick up a bottle of simple green for $8, and use it (full strength). if that doesn't work, use tar/bug remover. both worked fine for me. (BCRUZ) I think no matter which route you go, your taillights aren't going to look normal after you strip off the tine spray. If you sand them, they'll turn cloudy and dull. If you use the aircraft stripper, you run the risk of deforming the plastic. Too risky if you ask me. (iam7head) if you have that store 'TAP Plastics' in your area, go there and ask for this chemical that removes graffiti and spray paint off of any glass or plastic material, the guy at the store told me that people use it to remove graffiti from vending machine windows. i used this on my friend's tail lights and it worked great. it completely removed the black tint from his tail lights and didn't hurt the plastic at all. i don't remember the name of the chemical (it's been like 5 years) sorry.
