  • An Enderman is 3 blocks high. If your house is 2 blocks high, attack him, and then run into your house; he might teleport inside and suffocate. Then you can kill him more easily.
  • If the Enderman picks up a TNT block that is about to detonate and it does detonate, it will turn hostile. Be wary of this added danger when fighting near TNT.
  • When an Enderman attacks, put your device, computer or TV volume on mute. That way you'll know when an Enderman opens its mouth to attack, which isn't pretty!
  • You can trap Endermen using boats; simply place one near them and they'll get into it. They can't teleport out of boats, allowing you to kill them safely.
  • Don't waste your time using eggs, crossbows, or snowballs on Endermen. They will always teleport away rather than take damage from those weapons.
  • Hitting an Enderman with a bucket of water is effective too, as Endermen take damage from water. Use this to your advantage during battle.
  • You cannot hit Endermen with bows and arrows, and they will most likely teleport away from you.
  • You can find plenty of Enderman in the Warped Forest in the Nether.
  • Use a Diamond Sword because a wood or stone sword won't work.
