Oct 18, 2013 Storing boiled peanuts by: Bret You can store boiled peanuts either in the brine, or drained. Refrigerating them in the brine will increase the wetness and flavor inside the shell, until the peanuts become saturated. Boiled peanuts stored in the refrigerator are good for about 7 to 10 days. Frozen boiled peanuts are good for several months.

Per the US food and drug administration "Keeping food at proper temperatures — indoor and out — is critical in preventing the growth of foodborne bacteria. The key is to never let your picnic food remain in the "Danger Zone" — between 40 °F and 140 °F — for more than 2 hours, or 1 hour if outdoor temperatures are above 90 °F. This is when bacteria in food canmultiply rapidly, and lead to foodborne illness." Bacteria grow most rapidly in the range of temperatures between 40 °F and 140 °F, doubling in number in as little as 20 minutes. Why not just refrigerate boiled peanuts like you would cooked beans?

May 02, 2022 ?? by: Anonymous I boiled cajun peanuts and put them in hot mason jars straight out of the crockpot. Put lids on and let them cool. The top seemed to seal where it wasn't making the pop noise and had to use a knife to get top off. Are these guys OK for a couple days?? Even tho I didn't use a pressure cooker or a water bath?
