There are also several featured events throughout September 2021, and powerful new weapons to acquire. A big part of the content can be experienced on the two new islands, Watatsumi and Seirai. When you first venture onto the Seirai island, you will surely notice all the lightning. That’s where the Thunder Manifestation boss in Genshin Impact 2.1 comes into play.

How to unlock Thunder Manifestation boss in Genshin Impact

You can’t simply walk up to the Thunder Manifestation boss in Genshin Impact 2.1, as you are first required to complete a huge world quest to unlock the fight. The Thunder Manifestation boss offers a tonne of great rewards all travellers will want to get upon defeating it.

We aren’t going to beat around the bush here as we did in our guide to all the Amakumo Fruit locations.

To unlock the Thunder Manifestation boss fight, you will need to complete the Seirai Stormchasers world quest. To start, talk to Eiko, an adventurer from Inazuma, who investigating the anomaly at Seirai island.

Once you’ve sealed all the warding stones on the Seirai island, a short cutscene will play out and you will be introduced to the Thunder Manifestation boss. Defeat her, claim your rewards and then ascend the mountain. We recommend you have a shield character to fend off those thunder attacks.

Once you’ve ascended the mountain, find the Peculiar Pinion feather and loot two chests, then take the feather back to Eiko. Talk to her to complete the Seirai Stormchasers world quest.
