I Dropped My MacBook Pro, Is It Totally B… - Apple Community

Hey!
So a few days ago I dropped my MacBook pro (it's fairly new, I bought it a year ago). The computer was on when it fell. It fell about a meter to a concrete floor and landed on a v shape downwards (as the laptop was open). First I was in shock, but after picking it up I only noticed a minor bent on one of the corners. Everything else seemed to work perfectly. I have been then using it for these last couple of days without no issues. However, today I was on it and suddenly out of nowhere the screen blacks out and starts flickering with black and white lines everywhere. I turned it on and off many times but all I see is these lines when I turn it on. Is the problem with the screen or is it possible there are some bigger damages? I have not backed up anything and I'm very scared I'll lose all my photos and important files. How easy is it for the hard drive to break? Has anyone had any similar issues with their computer dropping? I would really appreciate help if you know anything 🙂 Thank you!
