Our Iced Latte recipe turns your favorite morning beverage into a refreshing drink that you can enjoy at any time of the day. All you need is some ice, a splash of milk and rich espresso-like coffee from a stovetop brewer. Grab your mason jar to add some cold foam for an elevated twist, or customize your coffee with a little vanilla for a classic Iced Vanilla Latte.

Brewed Coffee
- 4 oz
Starbucks® Espresso Roast Buy Now
OTHER INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup ice
- 0.75 cup whole milk
- Optional sweetener of choice, such as homemade Vanilla Syrup (or storebought)
TOOLS
- Mason jar
Vanilla Syrup
- 1|cup sugar
- 1|cup water
- 1| vanilla bean (or 1 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract)

Cut the vanilla bean in half lengthwise.
- If using vanilla extract, wait to add until the end of Step 03.

Add the sugar, water and vanilla bean (if using) to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for 5 minutes.

Once cooled, strain out the vanilla bean from the syrup.
- If using vanilla extract, stir in with the sugar and water mixture once it's simmered and cooled.

Enjoy in your favorite Starbucks® coffee or recipe.
HOW TO MAKE
Iced Latte
- 01
Fill a tall glass with ice, and pour in the freshly brewed espresso.

Pour the milk and optional sweetener into a mason jar until it’s ¾ full.

Seal the jar tightly, and shake, shake, shake.

Pour the milk and foam into the glass with the ice and espresso.

Brew a shot of espresso using your machine. Meanwhile, fill a glass with ice. Pour the espresso shot directly over the ice and add cold milk to the glass. Stir gently and enjoy your homemade iced latte.
