I asked a friend of mine who plays the game on ps4 and he told me most of the players seems to focus on the single player content itself considering that rewards for doing online multiplayer isn't that really "Rewarding" or engaging.Does it also apply on the pc version though? Since this was the case on FF XV, playercounts are high yet no one plays the Multiplayer mode (Comrades). < > Showing 1-15 of 18 comments

26 Oct, 2019 @ 7:19am It's not dead, others like myself after beating the game will respond to signals to help others in the depths or boss battles for fun, I played co op for my entire play through with randoms, the time of day and some of the areas will determine wait times, it's not all that rewarding other than earning titles and emblems and a co op rank, you can also get loot from dropped enemies, again I thoroughly enjoy helping others especially if you beat the game it's a good way to fight previous bosses that you can't fight anymore if you're not wanting to NG+ that is. I'm sure it will continue to be that way for a long while. #1

26 Oct, 2019 @ 7:20am Since AI is better and don't need to be online. Kinda why not a lot of players call other players.Unless they dead stuck on some boss. Last edited by Cookie; 26 Oct, 2019 @ 7:21am #2

26 Oct, 2019 @ 11:46am Well there is a problem i had occur where it kept saying I couldn't connect with the host but i was able to fix that problem by unequipping all the bloodlines i wasn't using (removing their skills and passives). That being said its pretty fun co-op, its similar to DS3 co-op except the matchmaking doesn't let you pick the boss/area its random.. #8

26 Oct, 2019 @ 10:31pm Seems like it. At least for OCE. 3.5k players online; haven't summoned anybody in any area or depths for hours. #11

26 Oct, 2019 @ 10:41pm it seems depend on the time of the day, for example when it's around 10 AM - 3 PM, i barely got any answer to my summon, but when it's 6 PM onward, the most i have to wait is 2 minute before someone join in (I'm in GMT+7 timezone) #12

26 Oct, 2019 @ 11:41pm Instead of "dead", It's more of a "where are you" problem The system made it hard to find anyone even when there are 10k+ people onlinehappened to me on the first days of this game release, almost feels like I'm the only person playing it until I learnt how the system works Last edited by Blue Eyes White Coffee; 26 Oct, 2019 @ 11:43pm #13

26 Oct, 2019 @ 11:58pm Like others have said, it's difficult to find others, and I'm not entirely sure if this is a problem with the player base or servers unable to connect with players. It might be issues with the connectivity in this game.Another thing: the bosses get insanely buffed when you summon someone for help. Based on other FromSoft games that's typical, however it's not hard to find a boss battle where you'll be killed in two hits or less. It depends on the boss. I wouldn't be surprised if that makes people wary of asking for help. Kinda why not a lot of players call other players.I'd call that subjective, the AI can be horrendous when needing revives due to being stunlocked, I've met alot of players running pure support builds that help with specific boss debuffs while you dish out the damage, or passive healers, but yes there's alot of people that play offline and use the AI, Yakumo and IO are pretty decent ones, again online is fairly active so there is alot of other players calling other players unless the PS4 version just isn't as active lol #4

Cathartic View Profile View Posts Originally posted by rise:Have you even played it? it's definitely not a casual souls like game especially on NG+ unless you're one of those no hit dodge king guys, granted most people who play with companions plus a co op partner will say that or there is some OP builds where you can stun lock everything but it holds up fairly well, playing true solo might be your thing, the only downside imo is there is no PvP would of added alot more replayability as I enjoyed that in Dark Souls 3 Last edited by Cathartic; 26 Oct, 2019 @ 8:19pm #9Originally posted by Roayer:Despite the problems i usually match with someone fairly quick, especially if i am the host.is it really that mandatory though? kinda curious how its online features holds up in comparison to let's say Darksouls 3 and MH World since this is pretty much a Casual Souls-Like game rather than a literal Darksouls/Monster Hunter difficulty.
