JDRF is the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research; funding research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.

Operating independently in nine countries including the UK and American, JDRF unite as an international organisation to fund the best research wherever it is in the world.

Globally, JDRF has invested £1 billion in funding critical research to improve the lives of those living with type 1.

The JDRF also operates in the UK as an independent charity, registered with the charity commission in England and Wales. Globally, the JDRF network has been responsible for raising over £600 million.

The JDRF funds people researching prevention, treatment, causes and cure for type 1 diabetes The JDRF is the largest voluntary health organisation in the world, currently funding over 20 research projects in the UK alone.
