Post by eleanornj on May 25, 2021 8:05:12 GMT -5 Hi! I'm new to cc creation and I've run into a major issue almost as soon as I started...I've modified a maxis mesh in Blender 2.9 and thought I could import it to S4S through an older version of Blender.I've downloaded Blender 2.79b and 2.78c in zip files. But when I open them, the whole window is zoomed to a corner of the user interface and it's impossible to navigate to other part of the window. I've tried to use the +/- numberpad keys, but it only adjusts the font size but does not zoom me out.I wonder if anyone else has encountered this problem and if there's a way around it? I'm on a 2018 Macbook Pro with the latest version of mac os. Thank you for your help!!!

Post by mauvemorn on May 25, 2021 8:55:56 GMT -5 Hi. You can’t open files created in 2.8+ in previous versions. Instead of doing that, export a blend file from s4s, open it in 2.7x, file - append - the file you made in 2.9- objects - the meshgroups you need, assign cut numbers, saveif the problem will persist, go to File - user preference - interface - display, adjust that number | | Last Edit: May 25, 2021 8:57:24 GMT -5 by mauvemorn PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES OF CREATOR HELP: • describe your problem and provide a picture of it (if possible); • provide download link(s) to .package and .blend files. If you have a Gmail acc, you can host all of the above on Google Drive

I managed to import my objects into 2.79. It feels like many things are done differently in the older versions and it may take some time to get adjusted to.Although completely unrelated, I also managed to solve the interface issue. I accidentally resized the window by dragging the corners, and the interface actually reset itself into normal size. I'll leave the solution here in case anyone else is looking.

Post by mauvemorn on May 26, 2021 11:04:20 GMT -5 You don't really need to do anything other than assigning the type in a cut number in 2.7x, everything else can be done in the latest version | | PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES OF CREATOR HELP: • describe your problem and provide a picture of it (if possible); • provide download link(s) to .package and .blend files. If you have a Gmail acc, you can host all of the above on Google Drive

Post by FrankSimatra on Aug 16, 2021 15:44:53 GMT -5 I just wanted to share that another solution to the Blender UI issue is to enter full screen mode.
