Do you want to create 3D sculptures you can be proud of?

Are free Blender sculpting tutorials on YouTube only giving you a basic understanding, but they don't teach you all the steps necessary to create stunning, high-quality sculptures?

That's why we created this extensive Blender course, that teaches you all important sculpting workflows using only free tools.

Learn in a step by step sculpting project how to bring a cute 3D creature to life, by sculpting from references, adding color and rendering a turntable animation.

So, pick up your graphics tablet (a mouse will do too, but it's much less fun) and start your sculpting journey.

Is this course right for you?

Some basic Blender knowledge is recommended to have fun with this course, however, no previous sculpting experience is required, since we start at the very beginning.

If you don't have any Blender knowledge, join our free Blender Beginners course, or get our comprehensive Blender Launch Pad course.

We highly recommend using a graphics tablet for this course, even a basic one will make your sculpting journey much more enjoyable.

This course can also help you to make the switch from a different sculpting software to Blender.

Zach Reinhardt

Founder & Lead Instructor

I fell in love with 3D the first time I opened Blender in 2004. From my first freelance jobs, to my first teaching experiences, my passion for telling stories in 3D and teaching my experiences to others grew. All of this led me to founding CG Boost in 2019, where I carefully craft Blender courses to make your learning process an enjoyable journey.

Frequently asked questions.

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

How long do I have access to the course?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

What if I am unhappy with the course?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days, and we will give you a full refund.

Does this course work with Windows, Mac and Linux systems?

The course was recorded on a Windows 10/11 computer, so it should work fine there. However, we haven't tested it on Mac and Linux systems, so we can't guarantee that everything works there correctly.

Do I need a powerful PC for taking this course?

To have fun with this course, a medium to high-end computer is recommended. Check the Blender system requirements here and a Blender PC build guide here for more info.

Do I need a graphics tablet to take the course?

Using a graphics tablet is highly recommended, because sculpting with a mouse is not much fun (although it’s possible). These tables come with a pen and can detect the pen pressure when sculpting, which provides a much more intuitive and precise sculpting experience.

A graphics tablet without a screen and in small size does the job already. We recommend products from XP-Pen or Wacom. Get more info by watching the free lesson from the course.

Does this course work with the latest Blender version?

Yes! The changes from one Blender version to another are mostly minimal in terms of the core functionality, so it won't much affect the course content. There might be minor changes in the user interface. We also give our best to update outdated lessons in the long run, so the course stays fresh.

Also, if you get stuck, we are there to help you, just ask your questions in the comment section below the lessons.

Can I download the course videos and project files?

The project files are attached to each course lesson and can be downloaded right away. To watch the course offline (download the course videos), you can request access to the download section (instructions are in the course).

Please note: Our downloads are standard video files without any copy protection. Because of this, once you have access, we can't revoke it — so refunds aren't available after download.

Is this course suitable for Blender beginners?

The course is suitable for sculpting beginners. However, we won't cover the general basics of Blender here.

We highly recommend taking our comprehensive Blender Launch Pad course first (there is a special discount at the checkout page when purchasing this course). The minimum Blender knowledge you need, you can also find in our free Blender Beginners course.

Will you teach human anatomy in this course?

In this course, you will get a basic understanding on where you can find anatomy references online and how to use them. However, this course will not teach you human anatomy in detail. If you're looking for a human anatomy course specifically, then this course might be something for you.
