Haul N Grass Folks I found an interesting read this morning on another website,There's a device being sold on Amazon that's suppose to bypass the def system so your able to drive your truck until your able to get your def system properly repaired? Apparently you just plug it into the obd port and remove several fuses and you should be good to go ? If this product is valid,I'll be purchasing it and keeping it in my glove box in case I ever get the dreaded def count down while I'm traveling, and not at the mercy of any other dealership. Here's the Amazon link http:// www.amazon.com/ Adblue-Emuat.../dp B074KCZ42P . Cost 34.00 If anyone has any information on this product please share as soon as possible!!! And 97 if my link doesn't work would you please bring this information over ....Thanks as always!!!!! #1 · Nov 17, 2017 Folks I found an interesting read this morning on another website,There's a device being sold on Amazon that's suppose to bypass the def system so your able to drive your truck until your able to get your def system properly repaired? I tried copy /paste the " Adblue-Emat.../dp " part of your post in Amazon , => result of search = " 0 ". .. Is it something like this ?? https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Univer...-In-1-Ad-blue-Emulation-Module-Truck-Adblue-Obd2-Remove-Tool-9in1-/253082055104 .. also found this , but does not have the Ram in the list :EGR remover , https://www.ebay.com/itm/Profession...ssional-DPF-EGR-Lambda-Adblue-Flap-DTC-Hotstart-remover-FULL-2017-/162752155189 #3 · Nov 17, 2017 (Edited) Kazimodo... It's similar but just a small device that plugs into obd port. BTW thanks for helping!!! #4 · Nov 17, 2017 Try this: https://www.amazon.com/Adblue-Emula...42P/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1510931540&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=dp+B074KCZ42P #5 · Nov 17, 2017 link from John Jensen works .. part of the description : 1. Pull the Key out from the ignition. 2. Remove the following Fuses (D A-F) 6 - 15A E357 - 20A <= (that part is mystery to me ) 3. Plug adBlueOBD2 into OBD2 connector 4. Turn on the ignition and check the level of adBlue, if it shows 50% or 70%. 5. If any fault light appears on dashboard, delete via service scanner. 6. To turn back to the truck's original settings, just unplug adBlueOBD2 from OBD2 connector.

#6 · Nov 17, 2017 eBay has it for $16.55 https://www.ebay.com/i/322546841008?chn=ps&var=511526588576&dispctrl=1 #7 · Nov 17, 2017 Apparently for semi's only? If so hopefully in near future for Ram trucks as well ..IMOP The def count down is a bad deal for diesel owners . I personally like the def system and the diesel exhaust smell vs old diesels. Just don't like the count down to being stranded. #8 · Nov 17, 2017 I spent a few minutes looking for one that works with light and medium duty trucks and was unable to find any.... I agree, the slight ammonia smell is far better than the eye watering old diesel stench. 0 Reply #9 · Nov 17, 2017 Better description in your find Anomaly ( Gene ) obviously not for our Ecodiesel yet , that could save a purchase for nothing .
