About Michael Buffer

Michael Buffer is regarded as someone who revolutionised sports announcing. With his creation of the “Let’s get ready to rumble” catchphrase in 1984 while announcing professional boxing matches, he became very popular and highly in demand. He was later hired to announce bouts held in all casinos owned by Donald Trump. Besides boxing, Buffer also worked as an exclusive ring announcer for main events by the World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Family Life

He was brought up by foster parents following his parents’ divorce when he was just 11 months old. His first marriage produced two sons and ended after seven years. His second marriage also lasted from 1999 to 2003. In 2007, he got married for the third time to a woman named Christine.
