In theory, you just need to consume these potions and foods in order to get the mentioned effects. Of course, drinking all of these can take a while, so to tackle this, we highly suggest using splash potions. You can set up a dispenser system to splash all of the potions down on the ground, giving you all the effects simultaneously.

From there, you'll just need to eat a Pufferfish, Golden Apple, and Suspicious Stew made with an Azure Bluet.

Beacon Effects

A large beacon in Minecraft with each beam as a different color, which is done with stained glass.

Many of these effects can easily be obtained by standing near to a beacon as well. This achievement is best completed while standing in a designated area, so you should definitely set up some beacons that offer the following effects.

  • Haste
  • Jump Boost
  • Regeneration
  • Speed
  • Strength

Tips To Obtain Other Effects

There are a handful of other effects that are a bit harder to obtain. Below, you can check out helpful tips to obtain each one.

Effect(s)

Tips

Bad Omen, Raid Omen, and Trial Omen

These three are tied together. As such, you can kill a Pillager Captain, which by a village, and then head to a Trial Chamber

Trial Omen lasts for 15 minutes at minimum, Bad Omen lasts for 1 hour 40 minutes, and Raid Omen lasts for 30 seconds after entering a village

Conduit

Simply be near an active Conduit (this applies underwater, but lasts for 12 seconds after leaving the water)

Hero of the Village

This is done by simply defeating a raid, and it lasts for 40 minutes

Levitation

Only Shulkers give this effect, so you will need to complete the difficult task of bringing a Shulker into the overworld

Mining Fatigue

Elder Guardians are in Ocean Monuments; as such, you can either bring one to you, or set up your How Did We Get Here? station near a monument

You just need to be within 50 blocks of the Elder Guardian

Wither

Wither can be gained by touching a Wither Rose

These drop when the Wither kills a mob (the flower drops from the dead mob)

Dolphin's Grace

Dolphins live in the ocean, so you'll need to find one and most likely capture it

Thankfully, you can put a lead on a Dolphin and bring it to wherever you are completing this advancement

Glowing

You can set up a dispenser to fire a Spectral Arrow at you

Darkness

This can be hard to obtain, as it comes from either the Warden or a naturally generated Sculk Shrieker

To streamline this process, you can capture/transport a Warden

So, with this in mind, one strategy would be to have an open area where to can stage the effects. This includes having dispensers to drop potions and the Spectral Arrow, as well as a Wither Rose, dolphin, Shulker, and Warden.

It's important to note that this is not going to be easy. There are several ways that it can be done in order to streamline the process; you can find several other Minecrafters online who have come up with a process that worked for them.

Overall, the biggest piece of advice that we can give you is to prepare ahead. How Did We Get Here is hard and not something you can decide to do on a whim. This will take a lot of preparation, and you may need to do some trial runs.
