How to Gain Influence

Gaining influence requires you to first be a leader of a kingdom. This is a process that will require some time before you can be at the level to start your own kingdom. However, the main story missions of the game bring you to a stage where you can start your own kingdom.

When you started a kingdom, you can now get influence by completing the many activities at your disposal. These include completing quests that reward with influence, clearing out areas with bandits and robbers. Killing enemy armies will largely give you influence, or you can have the Charm skill which also gives you some influence.

There are many factors that drain influence. These include how long your army has been marching to a destination, how distant they are from the faction, army morale, and relationships between your units and the commanders and lords. You have to keep a check on your influence before you set out to do something big. It is also advised that you should always save your game before you set out for some activity, which may deplete your influence more than you might think.
