SHREVE, Ohio — The National Weather Service in Cleveland confirmed an EF-1 tornado Thursday.

NWS officials said the tornado took a path across the extreme south central portion of Wayne County and north central Holmes County on Wednesday around 8:55 p.m.

The tornado had estimated maximum wind speeds of 105 mph based on observed damage, NWS officials confirmed.

While no injuries or fatalities were reported, some structures were damaged, including barns and roofs, NWS said. Several trees were also uprooted and/or snapped.
