The game platform, Origin assigns each Gamer a unique ID. But you can change it at any time. We will show you how to do this.

Origin: user name (Origin ID) change

Behind-the-Origin-ID is your user name hidden in the end. In order for other players to find your Origin profile. The user name you can change easily in the Browser:

1. Open the EA Homepage and log in to your account.
2. To do this, select in the upper right corner of the [Log in]. A small window will open. Enter your E-Mail address and the associated password.
3. Then click in the top right of your profile image, and select "account settings".
4. In the tab "About me" click next to "General information" on the Button [edit].
5. For safety, EA sends you a six digit Code sent to your registered E-Mail address. Enter this to continue.
6. You can now change your ID to the desired user name and click "Save".
7. Note: if the desired Account Name is already in use, you receive an error message. In this case, select a different Origin ID.
