Critical Role related[]

Critical Role campaign was his first time playing a tabletop RPG like Pathfinder or Dungeons & Dragons.

When choosing and creating his character, Orion asked the Dungeon Master, Matthew Mercer, if there were any arcane magic wielders within the group. After some discussion over the different mechanics between a wizard and a sorcerer, Orion chose sorcerer as he liked that class better. He made sure to have a very built-up backstory for Tiberius before playing, including mannerisms and voice. His character is based off of the Forgotten Realms character Elminster Aumar, whom Orion voiced in the Neverwinter MMO.

Orion describes Tiberius as the false buffoon, where he appears as though he does not know what he's doing, but in a battle, he completely changes.

On October 28th, 2015, it was announced on the Geek & Sundry website that Orion would no longer appear on Critical Role.[1] It was further clarified by Matt in the episode "Stoke the Flames" (1x30) and on a reddit post.[2] On January 7, 2016, Orion provided his perspective on his Youtube channel, but the video was later removed.[3] In May 2017, Orion explained in greater detail what had been going on during a Twitch stream on his own channel, including his own struggles with illness, and substance abuse.

On May 13th, 2016, Draconian Knights, a scripted radio play series created by Orion, was first aired on his Twitch channel.[4] The story follows Tiberius, as he returns to his plane of existence and rejoins his family to bring order and peace to their world. The storyline exists outside of the Critical Role canon, but contains elements from the past events. It was temporarily removed and re-uploaded in 2018 on his Youtube channel.
