I went to nessus in artifacts edge during a heroic mission on nessus, the place where the cabal public event injection rig takes place. I suppose during a strike or nightfall will do fine as well. On the bluff, are a lot of vex that constantly spawn in. Stand on a rock far enough away so they keep spawning. More often than not multiple ones will spawn together. Shoot the enemies one after the other but do not kill. Once you have the fifth shot, let em have it. If you shot them the right amounts, the ones nearby will die from the burn damage. There's a Lost Sector in Sorrow's Harbor on the Moon where there's a dense population of Hive that you can fire off a Perfect Fifth shot and have the DoT kill many of them. Which, to note, that is what the catalyst counts as 'Perfect Fifth' kills. Not the explosion itself but the DoT it inflicts on any enemies that survive it. Enter the "Leviathan" raid solo and head into the first area. A big ol' arena-style place called the "Castellum." There, you will have infinitely respawning Cabal, who are very bulky. When I did this, I was around power level 980. 3headshots with the Polaris Lance would kill a regular legionary in there. 4th headshot on an enemy, then body-shot the Perfect Fifth. The explosion should do -just- enough damage that the fire tick will kill the guy.
