Sony announced high hopes of ending the PS5 shortage that has plagued gamers since the next gen console launched. In another industry impacted by supply chain and chip shortage issues, the company's projections show improved part procurements coming before its fiscal year ends in March 2023.
Find a real job! In addition to the supply issues that have driven inflation and supply crunches across industries, much of the PlayStation 5 shortages relate to scalpers using bot technology to buy, mark up, and resell newly released batches of consoles as soon as they hit online shops.
