In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jul 20, 2017 58 31 40 Pittsburgh Pa ✟34,803.00 Country United States Gender Female Faith Charismatic Marital Status Married Hi Everyone, I don't know whats with waking up at 3am i don't know if the Lord is waking me up at this time then i wake up again at 6am and this has been happening for some times like 3 nites back to back. Is the 3am an important time in the morning spiritually? Has the Lord woken up anyone else at this hour? Should the next time it happens should I start praying and talking to God? What I do when I wake up at 3am is I look at my clock on my cell phone then I go back to bed. Any good in sight on this? Thanks Lu

There can be any number of reasons for waking at a particular time. I've had it happen quite a few times as well. A very good response is always to get up and pray, even briefly. The world is a bit of a different place during "the midnight hours" and can afford a different type of prayer. Being alone with God in quiet is a blessing. We even pray TO wake up to pray, often. Again, welcome to CF.

Visit site ✟772,100.00 Country United States Gender Male Faith Messianic Marital Status Married Politics US-Others Back in '84 on a friday morning in August, God woke up a former co-worker of my mom's at 3 am to pray for our family. 4 hours later I was in a car crash that should have been fatal (for me). My family doctor was already in the ER (seeing someone else) when I was wheeled in past him and the best thoracic surgeon in the entire state was just coming off of an overnight surgery. (200 miles away from his home) Suffice it to say I am still here. Incline your ear on those occasions to see if HE has something for you to pray about.

Three AM and three PM are indeed spiritually significant. Three PM is the time of the death of the Lord on the cross. Three AM perhaps the time of the resurrection. Many Catholics AND Protestants have noticed that they are awakened at 3 AM. If you wake up then, do pray. If you drift back asleep in the process, all is well. If you find yourself drawn to pray for a particular person, definitely do that. If the Spirit prompts you in prayer, go with it. Then finish off your sleep. It is a blessing that God would have you pray. Oh blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a font of mercy toward us, I trust in you. For the sake of Your Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
